Rates
I offer an initial telephone consultation free of charge. We can then either schedule an initial appointment, or if it turns out that I am not the best person to help you, I can provide information about alternative resources.

Individual therapy sessions (45 minutes) are $175.
Our first appointment will be for an initial evaluation, which usually lasts around 90 minutes, and the fee is $300.  If after we meet, we decide that I am not the best person to help you, I can refer you to more appropriate service providers.

Family consultations are $200 per hour, minimum of one hour.

Insurance
For private insurance, I am considered an out-of-network provider. My services are reimbursable by most private insurance plans that allow you to see an out-of-network provider. I will provide you with billing documentation for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please check your health insurance coverage by asking your insurer the following questions:

• Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• Is pre-authorization required?

I am not a Medicare or Medicaid provider. If you have Medicare you will need to contract for my services outside of Medicare.  

Family Consultation services are not reimbursable by medical insurance.

Payment
Cash and checks accepted, payment due at time of service, although monthly billing arrangements can usually be made.

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be financially responsible for the full cost of the session.
